New Design by @julianstarks

I'm one of those people that are always busy but can't ever really tell you what I'm busy on, however between handling designs and inventory for Demeanor and knocking-out freelance work through blog.pillcollection.com, I managed to find some spare time to create one of my favorite designs to-date!

Recently I've fallen in love with bright pop-colors against grey backgrounds, and she is a perfect example of where my artwork is headed these days!

I think this design would make a great print as well as a nice shirt design, let me know what you think, also I haven't been able to come up with a name for her yet, so if you have any ideas please drop them in the comments section?

Day Maker

I'm still not an iPhone owner but I will admit that the coolest cellular accessories are made for the iPhones, iPads, iPods.. well you get the picture. And although there are millions of options when it comes to purchasing a new iPhone dock, the Day Maker gives a new concept:

It’s an iPhone-charing alarm clock toaster that gives you two slots for charging two phones at once. Before you turn off the lights, set your alarm and press the phone down. When it’s time to get up, the phone(s) will pop up just like toast. If you decide to sleep in, feel free to press the phone back down to set the snooze. The Day Maker starts at $100 and features a analog clock, stereo sound with the ability to playback music via the iPod app and a pull tab on the back to pop up phones.

PRIME vs PRIME A2

I'm not a real fan of the Transformers movies so seeing the original G1 Optimus Prime whip the New Prime's ass is kind of cool. Pick which one you like!

Lupe Fiasco "Words I Never Said"

This video is soo damn sick, the black/white footage as well as the real life footage from actual events placed in between the regular color scenes of the video give it such a real feel. A super dope video for one of the standout tracks on Lupe's best selling album! Oh and peep the fight scene at the end, Lu turned super G on them!

Pixar 25 Year Anniversary

Pixar celebrates its 25th birthday this year. The animation studio began as the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm in the late '70s and spun off to become an independent company in 1986. Since then it has produced 20 short films and 12 features, including the first entirely computer animated theatrical release, Toy Story in 1995.

It's hard to believe Pixar has been with us for so long. The Oscar-collecting studio has doubtlessly produced many of the films most fondly remembered by the latest generation to enter adulthood-- a group that's likely to be watching Pixar movies with kids of their own soon. Take a look back at some of the most memorable moments of Pixar's 25 years with the fan-made video above.

Kidrobot x Family Guy – Mini-Figures

Family Guy is the latest of our favorite cartoon shows to transform their characters into mini-figures by Kid Robot on Thursday Feb 17th, 2011. The figures will weigh in at around 3-inches, and are made in plastic vinyl. And just like past Kid Robot Mini-Figure series this Family Guy collection will be as blind boxes. Make sure to pick a few up so you can litter your cubicle and not feel so old and boring.

Nooka Yogurt

Nooka is trying something new with its new offering the Yogurt. The Yogurt is actually their very first round shaped watch however this watch keeps true to Nooka’s used of soft and flexible polyurethane. This watch tells time with a display that incorporates digital hexagons that comprise the hour in the middle while minutes circle the outer watch. Nooka while stepping away from its rectangular shape for this watch will offer as usual a multitude of bright colors.

Kobe Bryant: The Black Mamba Trailer II

It's good to see a commercial with a little creativity, this one could end up being really cool or kind of corny, so it's not in my top commercials list just yet. Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo and Kanye West co-star in Kobe Bryant’s “The Black Mamba” (short film) ad for Nike Basketball, directed by Robert Rodriguez. The entire movie will premiere NBA All Star Weekend next month in Los Angeles.

The New Mortal Kombat

This game is going to be savage!

At E3 fans were given a chance to look at the new X-Ray look that was incorporated into the game. The video inside the X-Ray vision was just released for those not in attendance. Mortal Kombat is one of the many highly anticipated games this year because, not only of the new approach designers took, but the announcement that Kratos from God of War would make an appearance in the PS3 version. Mortal Kombat is to be released April 19th 2011.

Rick Ross - Devil In A New Dress

Say what you will about Rozay's past but the man is hands down a marketing genius! While other rappers are struggling to gain buzz and their projects release, Ross just goes and shoots dope videos for whatever song he wants which is no doubt one of his keys to continual success these days.
