Curiouser and Curiouser

For anyone who doubts that video games can be art, look no further than American McGee. The video game auteur started his career working on iconic titles such as Doom, its sequel, and in 1998 became the Creative Director of Electronic Arts. Eventually his love of the gaming medium would lead him to create his own game, American McGee’s Alice, a digital undertaking that takes place after Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass sagas. McGee’s title would go on to sell over 1.5 million copies.

REEBOK BACK - MEEK MILL Feat. ROSS X SWIZZ

Personally I have never been a Reebok fan, but definitely give credit to Swizz for getting Ross, Mill and crew to rock all Reebok and actually drop a decent record. Or it might just be the beat. Either way I'm sure the Reebok brand is happy and probably gave up some bucks for it too. What you think?

The Bobby Hundreds List

Anyone that’s ever spoken to me about my brand or asked my inspiration for designing or building a clothing line know for a fact that my favorite designer is Bobby Hundreds. The guy is an inspiration to me in not only how he has/is successfully growing his business (4 stores now) but also for how he still manages to keep everything limited and exclusive. So when he came up with the list of 50 of the Greatest Streetwear Brands for Complex I read through it a few times jotting notes and taking inspiration from each brand so have a read through and see where everything we’re doing now started! Click here to read the list!

Video: Tity Boi "Feeling You"

This is one of my favorite tracks off Tity's Boi's latest mixtape Codeine Cowboy, which is pretty dope. Everytime somebody gets in my car and here's this song they always ask "who is this?" especially the girls. Tity Boi has been building his brand for the past few years and it's starting to finally pay off, at least on the street side of things. Enjoy!

Demeanor at ElectriFLY

Our homies over at 4 Block Ent. had a great event last Thursday at Tabaq Bistro on U street that entertwined music and fashion in the DMV. They showed love to a few clothing lines including Demeanor and allowed us to set up shop, while models walked through the club making jaws drop, and 368 Music Group's the Phuture hosted the party.

You know how the grind goes when you slingin' shirts!

The new tank tops were a big hit, we'll get them on the site asap so you guys can have a chance to snatch up a few!

Slingin' shirts goes a lot smoother after 2 or 3 or 4 beers.

Sid the Kid was there ofcourse, he actually took most of the pictures throughout the night.

Educating on the brand.

Seren in her b-boy pose.

DJ Reddz getting busy on the 1's and 2's rocking our Stealing Fame tee.

The turnout was crazy especially because buckets of rain were dropping out of the sky all night!

Not hard to read John's mind here!

It was a pretty dope night, Demeanor was shown alot of love from everyone including DJ Reddz and the Phuture and it was a super dope event!

Frank Ocean - Novacane

Late on posting this one but, Frank's standout track from nostalgic, ULTRA (even though my favorite is 'Swim Good'). This guy and The Weeknd really changed the landscape of music like nothing i've even seen before, can't wait to see what next for them!

New Music: @MeekMill feat NH "Realest U Ever Seen"

Here's some new heat from Philly native MeeK Mill. I will admit I've become more of a fan since his move to MMG. His delivery is sick, aggressive, and street. His unceasing flow is one to look out for, especially since he has that Rick Ross co-sign. He's from Philly but has a following down south too. Enjoy!

SONY PLAYSTATION VITA

“Vita,” meaning “Life” in Latin, was chosen as the name for the next generation portable entertainment system. Sony announced the launch of PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) as the revolutionary combination of rich gaming and social connectivity within a real world context.

Sony plans to drop the PS Vita sometime near the end off 2011, most likely 2012, for $249 – $299.

Music Mondays: Cyhi Da Prynce feat. Tity Boi-"So Emotional" X Rick Ross feat. Meek Mill & Gunplay-"Finals"

Since Miami won last night I figured I would post this song Rick Ross made for his home team. Let's face it most of Ricky's songs kind of sound alike, but hey it's working and most people like it. Some blogs are claiming when Ross says "F*ck Boy" it's a diss to Jeezy, but I don't see how that would be a diss. I like this quote though "She F*cking ordinary nuccas!" lol

A new track from the "New Atlanta" Cyhi Da Prynce and Tity Boi. both of these guys have been making a lot of moves in the past year and I commend them for that because I saw them come from the bottom. This track is pretty cool. Enjoy!
