This is a great promo video, it's not one of those annoying 58 second video snippets of a video that'll hit the net in two days, and it's creative for the fact that instead of hearing Lupe rap you’re forced to read the lyrics on the animated LED signs and billboards which have a much deeper impact.
The video is seen as controversial, however if you’ve been a Lupe Fiasco fan for a while, you know that these are pretty standard lyrics for the Chicago bread Muslim:
“It’s so loud inside my head / with words I should have said / I can’t take back the words I never said / War on terror is a bunch of bullshit…”
The single is scheduled for a February 1 premiere, and it’s good to see Lupe will finally be releasing Lasers March 8th.
