Nike‘s Air Foamposite One – long a favorite canvas for the NSW design team and one that has showcased a bevy of wild, neck-breaking motifs as of late – gets a premium update for Spring 2014 as it returns in a brand new Metallic Silver/Volt-Black colorway. Pairing a black bootie with a Volt-colored rubber outsole and metallic silver upper, the release subtly incorporates a tonal take on the Air Tech Challenge IV’s signature pattern throughout its Foamposite shell. Complete with reflective elements in the collar mesh, this eye-catching pair of Foams is due out March 1 for $250 at select NSW spots and Nike.com.

New Shoe Alert: Nike 2014 Air Trainer 1 “Pro Bowl”

Paying tribute to the home of the NFL’s annual Pro Bowl, Nike presents this Hawaiian themed Air Trainer 1 “Pro Bowl.” Here, the classic training shoe features a premium white leather base accented with a vibrant floral print across the midfoot strap, tongue, heel, and lining. Black laces, Swoosh, tongue trim, and an icy blue translucent midsole round out the look for this “Pro Bowl” colorway. Be on the lookout for these when they reach Nike and select stockists on January 25.

New Shoe Alert: Nike Air Penny V “Lil Penny”

Nike pays tribute to Penny Hardaway’s diminutive alter-ego Lil Penny with the Air Penny V “Lil Penny” colorway. This eye-catching colorway features a combination of atomic red and black across the synthetic upper with speckled detailing starting at the eyestays and extending up towards the ankle and collar. The wavy midsole starts off white and slowly transitions to black as its moved downwards. Underneath is a semi translucent atomic red outsole. You can grab the “Lil Penny” colorway starting November 27 at select stockists including Concepts.

New Shoe Alert: Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Safari”

With fresh iterations of the Lunar Terra, the Roshe, and countless other models of recent, it’s probably safe to say the ‘Safari’ motif from Nike is in full force, my friends. Here we find Nike’s iconic baseball/lifestyle silhouette, the Air Griffey Max 1, outfitted in colorful textures and layers for the new season. Dubbed the “Safari” editions, the predominantly black upper is offset by an animal print lining over the side panels. A clean white midsole, garnished with Nike’s historically comfortable Air Max technology, has been accented by a neon pink sole. Though a necessarily attention-drawing shoe, the “Safari” Griffey shoe is sure to pair well with neutral staple pants for the forthcoming season.
