Last night J. Cole celebrated his 29th birthday with his latest show at The Theater in Madison Square Garden. His birthday couldn't have been any better, he announced his partnership deal with Interscope records for his new label Dreamville Records, and also released his new mixtape Revenge of The Dreamers. But what made the day even better his Hov gifting Cole with his original Roc A Fella chain while also joining him on stage. Kendrick Lamar also came out as a surprise guest, J. 10 months ago Kendrick Lamar released his debut album Good kid, m.A.A.d city, now the cohesive album has struck platinum. After Kendrick released his verse on Big Sean's "Control" track his album sales increased by 22% pushing it over the platinum mark. Smart move Kendrick, smart move.
