Jackpen is a miniature ballpoint pen designed to fit neatly inside the headphone socket of your mobile. Oxfordshire-based inventor Andrew Jewson came up with the novel idea of shrinking a ballpoint pen to the size of a headphone jack – instantly turning your mobile phone into a pen.

PICS: Jean Paul Gaultier Reveals iPhone Accessories

Jean Paul Gaultier has unveiled a range of five different mobile phone and tablet accessories, working with French company Bigben connected, which already creates accessories for Kenzo and Swarovski.

All the pieces are inspired by three of the JPG brand’s key motifs: the Breton mariniere striped sweater, sailor tattoos, and the “boîte de conserve” tin can.

Priced between €19.90 and €49.90 the cases are set to hit French fashion and mobile phone stores this month, as well as Parisian concept store Colette.

PICS: Apple May Offer A “Gold” iPhone 5S

There are rumors floating around that the iPhone 5S may come in gold which is a smart move from apple being that gold is very popular right now.

"In addition to the traditional black and white models, the forthcoming iPhone 5S could also be available in a flashier version, all in gold, according to TechCrunch.

Apple’s new smartphone will be presented on September 10, most likely alongside a more affordable version of the device, dubbed the iPhone 5C.According to these rumors, Apple may introduce a new “champagne” color to the iPhone range. The shimmery gold shade is even said to be quite easily obtained by anodizing the smartphone’s aluminum casing.

Well-heeled Apple fans can already purchase iPhones made of solid gold, or even encrusted with diamonds, through brands such as Amosu or Goldgenie, for several thousand euros, but the “champagne” iPhone would present a more affordable alternative for fans of metallic colors.Readers of TechCrunch commented that an iPhone with a gold case would likely sell particularly well in the Chinese and Indian markets, where the color is popular."
