Bentley has unveiled its new 2015 Bentley Continental GT Speed. Now more powerful than ever, the new Continental GT Speed’s 6.0 liter twin-turbo W12 engine’s has been tuned to deliver 626 hp and 820 Nm of torque, making this the fastest production Bentley ever with a top speed of 206 mph. To match the car’s increase in power, it now sports a more purposeful exterior with a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser matched to the exterior paint color and distinctive touches like red brake calipers and dark tint 21″ rims. New Car Alert: Bentley Mulsanne Birkin Limited Edition

The luxury sports car maker is honoring Bentley legend Sir Henry ‘Tiger’ Tim Birkin with 22 very special examples of the Mulsanne inspired by the eccentric racer and reserved for Bentley’s European clients. Birkin made his name in the 1920s and 30s and essentially invented the concept of the gentleman racer, such was his sartorial elegance, sense of fair play and utter fearlessness when pushing a car to the limit. He also pushed Bentley to the limit, convincing the company to develop superchargers to make the cars faster and to enter the marque in the then nascent Le Mans 24-hour race.

The limited edition Mulsannes that take Birkin as their inspiration will stand on specially developed 21-inch wheels and will be offered in one of three color choices — Ghost White; Damson; and a Fountain Blue/Dark Sapphire two-tone contrast.But the changes from the ‘standard’ model amount to much more than simply a lick of paint.

Each car will come with a set of hand-tailored luggage, each piece of which will be individually numbered and made to match the client’s interior specification. The cars will also be getting the special Mulliner Driving Specification, complete with ‘Sport’ mode, which will keep owners who also have a handful of supercars in their garage engaged.

New Car Alert: Bentley Continental GT V8 S

Bentley has added a new member to the Continental GT family with the unveiling of the Continental GT V8 S. Available as either a coupe or convertible, the new S models reinforces the Continental’s grand touring capabilities with a bump into horsepower to 521 hp and a range of up to 500 miles on single tank. Bentley’s engineers have also refined the cars handling by adding a lowered sports suspension and a new damping system designed to maintain utmost comfort regardless of road conditions. As far as looks go, the S comes with a new front splitter, side sills, and diffuser as well as a black gloss radiator grille and “figure of eight” exhaust pipes. The S is set to go on sale later in the year with deliveries scheduled for 2014.
