Paying homage to the Nets and the city they call home, adidas presents a special Brooklyn-inspired take on its classic Crazy 8. Decked out in an apropos combo of black and white, the release is highlighted by a map of the subway lines that surround the Barclays Center on the sockliner and includes “Brooklyn” embroidery at the ankle while the Nets logo hits both the tongue and heel. Furthermore, the Barclays Center’s unique herringbone court pattern is replicated throughout both the premium suede upper and laces as the shoe’s toe dons shiny patent leather. Retailing for $125 USD, the Brooklyn edition of the Crazy 8 is set to hit Foot Locker and Finish Line locations, as well as the Nets team shop December 6.
