Mercedes unveils its compact suv, the new GLA. Based on their well-received concept, the GLA is definitely the sportiest looking of the SUV lineup with sharp contours and aggressive looks. Under the hood will be a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that pumps out 208 hp and will be available with the next generation of Merc’s 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Standard features include a 7-speed transmission, Electromechanical power steering, Collision Prevention Assist, and Attention Assist. As for options, you can select from a power liftgate, Blind Spot Assist, Distronic Plus, Lane Keeping Assist, and a Panorama Sunroof. The GLA250 will hit showrooms in Fall ‘14 and the 4Matic model will arrive in early 2015.
