This isn't your typical Bentley, it's actually for the race track, but who would really want to race this nice luxury vehicle around a track. Take all the extra paint off and I wold rather drive slow, so everybody can see me lol.
Bentley has officially unveiled the 2014 Continental GT3, the Crewe-based firm’s latest race car. Based on the road-going Bentley GT V8, the Continental GT3 was developed in partnership with M-Sport. The engineers of the GT3 managed to remove roughly 2,200 pounds of weight while reconfiguring the car’s V8 engine to produce 600 horsepower and adding a new aerodynamic package to keep the car planted on the race track. The luxurious interior of the road-going model has been stripped out in favor of a lightweight, spartan interior with just the essentials. The car is set to go into action starting in 2014 with the FIA Blancpain series against the likes of the McLaren 12C GT3 , the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3.
