The international Sneaker Pimps event took place this past weekend in Washington D.C. And I have to say that this was the dopest Sneaker Pimps I’ve been to in recent memory. The whole place was swarming with people walking around with duffel bags full of exclusive sneakers that most people haven’t heard of and probably couldn’t afford, everyone was looking to make trades or find the one pair of elusive sneakers that would make their collection complete.
Sneaker Pimps took a minute out to recognize our brand to which we’re very grateful! Our section was a constant traffic stopper and we managed to make a lot of great connections at this event.
If someone happened to walk into this place by mistake, they would've sworn there were a million drug deals going on... and they would have been partially correct, this event is specifically for exclusive sneaker addicts and their drugs are... well you get the point!
We always get a lot of questions about our brand, how did we start, how long have we been in business, what’s Diamond Dave all about, what’s next for you guys?
I’m pretty sure I do a terrible job of answering all of these questions in person, so if anyone wants to know you can learn about how my partners and I started and Demeanor and what the brands about click here. It’s hard to believe but we’ve only been in business for 1 year and if you don’t believe me check here. Diamond Dave and our Rich Kids Collection is really about believing anything can be achieved you can read the details here. And as far as what’s next for our brand, click here to find out!
Did I mention our clothes were selling like hotcakes!
We really do appreciate all the love and support that we always get and the amazing thing is it's usually from complete strangers. The new fans that we meet are always inquisitive about the thought behind their favorite designs and through conversation they usually give us a new way to think about things.
The top sellers remain the Diamond Dave products and the DMV Slang tees.
The newest MMG member, Stalley arrived and performed a dope set. There was pretty cool artwork throughout the building.
And ofcourse Bun-B closed the show going through endless classics!
