This past weekend Demeanor was invited to participate in a Young Black Entrepreneurs Workshop and speak to students at the LAYC in DC. It was a really cool and fun event. Students had the chance to play some guessing games about our brand as well as ask whatever questions were on their mind as we went through the brief history of our brand and shared our vision of where we're taking it! 
I was really impressed by the students as they not only paid attention (I have a short attention span even as an adult so you could only imagine me being in my teens) but asked very relevant and knowledgeable questions about not only starting a business takes, but about startup capital, how important is working a 9-5 while side-hustling until your dream comes true, and how important recognizing our demographic is? 
At the end we had a few giveaways. We asked a few questions and gave away a few shirts for students that answered correctly, we also gave away DM wristbands so we hope that everyone got something. Hopefully everyone had as much fun as we did, thanks for having us!
