KAWS is busy working on an upcoming project taking place in Hong Kong this Fall, entitled “Passing Through”. For the exhibition the artist has worked on a massive sitting version of his iconic Companion character. “Passing Through” will take place in October at Harbour City in Hong Kong. We'll keep you updated with the details.
After about an eight month delay, the magnificent W Hotel officially opened its' doors in Downtown New York on August 18. I must say the architects really did their thing designing the 58 floor towering structure, featuring 217 luxurious guest rooms and private condos. They also get a perfect 10 for location, because not only does the hotel offer views of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Hudson River and Battery Park; it is only steps away from the planned Freedom Tower on Ground Zero.

Well I'm sure by now you all have figured out that I have a thing luxurious lifestyles and lavish living. When I see homes such as The Castello Sul Lago, I am instantly reminded of why I wake up every morning to work so hard. This home is possibly one of the best I have ever come across. The name is Italian for Castle on the Lake and the home overlooks a deep bend in Lake Travis, located near Austin, Texas. The estate is more than 17,000-square-foot and sits on about 3.5 acres. This marvelous home comes fully loaded with marble floors, spiral staircases, outdoor hot tub, ballroom, and the most amazing views.
Mansory, the car tuning specialist from Germany, has unveiled its Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero d'Oro. Fitted with the full Linea Vincero range of accessories including a full aero kit to make the Veyron even more aerodynamic, it's covered with polished carbon-fibre body panels which feature copper threads interwoven into the material. Elsewhere you'll find gold paintwork applied to the wheels, V-shaped grille, door handles, mirror housings, fuel filler cap, headlight washer nozzles, headlight surrounds and roof. Only one has been made, however they will perform the same modifications on any other Veyron - if the owner so wishes.
The high-end car brand, Maybach, has taken luxury a step beyond by introducing their new luxurious eyewear collection. The Maybach sunglasses are each hand crafted, with high quality materials such as wood, leather, natural horn, titanium and 18-carat white, yellow and rose gold. The actual design of the collection is inspired by various elements that define the Maybach car models, including the brand’s logo. It might just be me, but after I spend over $400,000 on a car I would hope they throw in the glasses for free lol.Last night at 11pm Kanye finally unveiled his long awaited video moving painting for "Power." The amazing concept and visuals for the video are said to be inspired by Michelangelo's frescos in the Sistine Chapel, however you can't help but question it's length or lack thereof. The video is 90 seconds long, and while intentional it just feels like fans were cheated out of what was going to be a special moment.

Even the making of Ye's video for Power is dope, the viewing of the video is going to be an epic event. The full video premieres tomorrow at 11PM on all MTV networks.
