Just The Right Amount of Wrong

Last night as I watched the the season finale of "Mad Men" (what was Don Draper thinking?), this new ad from The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas caught my attention and captured my imagination. I've watched this commercial more than a hand full of times now and I still have no clue what's going on here but it looks like somewhere I want to be.



What started off as a sexy party scene turned into complete randomness, including a gluttonous feast, a guy dancing with someone's grandma (hilarious though it was), kittens, puppies, and bunnies invading the party, a pant-less bellhop delivering luggage, a waiter walking into a full pool to deliver a drink to a woman on a float, oh and lets not forget the deer!



I think it's time to start planning my next trip to Vegas and please believe i'll be stationed at The Cosmopolitan.

Inspired by luxury, Gray Design of Sweden has designed and manufactured one of the most magnificent boats, excuse me, yachts to hit the water. Selling for $27.6 million, this powerful super yacht is made up of 4 large bedrooms, reception and salon areas. But to top it off, the yacht comes equipped with a luxurious mystery car parked in its' garage (yeah I said garage).

Only problem is Master Leighton only offers his services to household names; can you blame him.

The Tokyo Mandarin: Yours for a Night

Since so much celebration is in the air due to homecoming season, this article definitely grabbed my attention. The five-star hotel, Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, is celebrating its 5th anniversary by offering the opportunity to rent the entire property for one night for a 'modest' $672,150. I never heard of a party/gathering taking over an entire luxurious hotel for almost 24 hours. The deal includes the entire hotel- 178 guest rooms, all nine restaurants and all spas - reserved from 3:00 in the afternoon to noon the next day. There's also an option to have a cocktail party for 500 people.
