Christian Louboutin Opens New NYC Boutique

Christian Louboutin, the man known for his iconic red soles recently opened his second men’s boutique in New York City after the success of his debut men’s shop in Paris. The new store, of approximately 1,500 square feet, occupies a unique structure that encompasses an abandoned section of the city’s landmark Highline. The innovative interior design elements combined with the industrial character of the building harmonize with the eclectic nature of the neighborhood. The loft-like space greets customers with exposed ribs of the highline, which tops the structure and acts as its ceiling. The front salon is distinguished from above with six skylights, salvaged from the Park Amory New York, which have been retrofitted with mirrors and suspended from the ceiling. Below, a geometric rawhide border frames the signature men’s Louboutin red carpet, while the rest of the space is floored with cobbled leather panels commissioned especially for the men’s boutique and created in Mexico City by local artisans. Here we take a look inside.

Maserati are seen often in Atlanta, but not as much as you see other basic cars such as Camry's and Honda's. This bad boy would stand out anywhere though, especially since its all white.

The car receives several upgrades including a lighter body, faster shifting, and tuned suspension, opening the door for something very special in their line-up.  The 2012 Maserati GranCabriolet MC Stradale is 220 lbs lighter, making the car accelerate and change gears much faster. The suspension for the MC Stradale is track-tuned while the front and back bumpers have been tapered, dual exhaust, rear diffuser added, a trunk spoiler and new set of rims round off an exciting new ride in the world of Maserati. R U Still Down?!

Pac has been gone for 16 years now but I still blast his music like Me Against the World and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory just dropped yesterday.  I think without a doubt he has left a lasting (sometimes conflicting) legacy that many of us will continue to keep alive, through arguments about his greatness and rank among other emcees (that's a regular argument for me...  he's #1 in case you were wondering) and where the music industry would have ultimately gone had he not met is fate on this very day 16 years ago.

No matter how you feel about Pac, I think that's its only fair that we respect his greatness, work ethic, and try to receive and pass on the positive message that he tried to put out (Keep Ya Head UP and Dear MaMa), he did raise an entire generation on music.  We should also cherish some of his wilder moments because that's truly who he was, like when Benzino explained how he roughed the stage and performed a song at the Source awards fresh out of jail!

**DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THE "RIDE 4 LIFE" SUICIDE PREVENTION RIDE WILL BE RESCHEDULED. THE NEW DATE IS SEPTEMBER 09, 2012, 9am - pm AND KICKSTANDS UP AT 1pm SHARP. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!!!

Demeanor is asking everyone to come out and support the annual "Ride 4 Life" suicide awareness event taking place September 8, 2012, 9am - 5pm and kickstands up at 1pm sharp. "Ride 4 Life" is a charity event collaborated with the National Organization for People of Color Against Suicide (NOPCAS) and the East Coast Busas Motorcycle Club, to shine light on what has become a significant national social issue.

If you decide you do not wish to participate in the bike ride (kickstands up at 1pm), there will still be a variety of activities for all ages. There will be food, vendors, music, moon bounce, clown, prizes and ZUMBA. So, just come prepared to enjoy yourself.

The "Ride 4 Life" charity event will take place at the East Coast Busas Clubhouse located on 5028 Beech Place, Temple Hills, MD 20748.

Please come out for a amazing time and help us with supporting a great cause!
