'Thinking of Forever' Series

On Saturday November 26th, my Grandmother, the woman who raised me and motivated me to strive for greatness, passed away on her 75th birthday (due to heart related complications). Since her passing I’ve been working on a series of prints that I will be releasing next week titled ‘Thinking of Forever’. These prints will not only be in loving memory of my Grandmother but also dedicated to all of the hearts that are longing for loved ones who are no longer with us. More details about this very personal project will be released throughout next week.

This video is mysterious and hard to fully grasp just like The Weeknd's music and is an acquired taste, but his mystique is the very same reason why he is so sought after. Personally I love the video, I’ve watched it a hundred times, and I respect the fact that he’s inaccessible especially in the world of second to second updates!

Thanksgiving Eve Bash Tonight!

Grindin'

Demeanor's favorite DJ, P. Knock set up shop at HQ last night to put in some work on our Superior Luxury II mixtape.

The whole family was present as P, played through each track on the mixtape in its official order.

The Best of the Worst crew was in the building so we had the chance to collab a little on their updated logo, they have big things in the works!

John has actually become an official gamer in the past few weeks, I feel like we're going to have to check him into video game rehab in the near future.

Demeanor is a 100% Apple supporter, if you bring any technology around us outside of Apple be prepared to get clowned. Word to Steve Jobs!

Coppo and PatisDope were putting in work on their respective hustles.

The reason Pat actually stopped in the shop last night was to record his (accidently hilarious) drops for the mixtape. We set up a makeshift studio for him, and when he got on the mic it quickly became the funniest night we’d ever have in the shop. We’ll have to release the bloopers from this session, with all of the randomness from the characters present it made the laughter non-stop.

P, let me try my hand at DJing... Ever since I saw the DJ battle in Juice I wanted to try... I got booed off the 1’s and 2’s though.

Somehow on our way out of the shop, a challenged was placed as to who was faster since we all played sports as kids…

P, was supposed to be the judge but I guess he felt the need to stretch first?

I passed out midway through the race but I was told that Alex won, John was in second, and Laurnce tripped me but he came in third!

Business from the iPhone

It's been forever since i've cleaned out my iPhone or Mac (especially my Mac) but I decided it was about time to free up some space on my phone.
The latest and greatest from Demeanor is ofcourse our beanies, which I haven't stopped wearing since they've come in. Pick up the Diamond Dave or the DM logo beanie here.

One of the coolest things about running a clothing line is having the opportunity to go to cool events and places and meet the many different people who support our brand.

We always get questions about our clothing line and it's origins, or how we came up with certain designs, so it's cool to have the chance to tell our story and reach out to our customers.

We've come a long way from just trying to figure out a name for our company, to having produced enough product to fill up our customers closets.

Demeanor always recieves a lot of love and attention no matter where we go and we're very appreciative of all the support.

Our long awaited female v-necks were a huge hit! We try to always listen to our customers and take their requests seriously and eversince we dropped our DMOR shirts last fall women have been demanding another v-neck, so this was a long one in the making.

Marlee D performing live is something that you want to see, she's got the voice and stage presence to carry a complete show.

Sid helped out around the shop last week and also took a trip with us to Pennsylvania where we set up shop at Lincoln University (it was a pretty cool trip), we're lucky to have as many friends as we do who support and contribute to this brand.

The Sons...

I usually have no clue what day of the week it is, however when Tuesday rolls around I never miss Sons of Anarchy. For the longest time I kept catching the show mid episode and I couldn't really get into it but let me tell you this is the illest show on TV right now (I put it ahead of Boardwalk Empire)!

I'm not sure what pulled me in with this show, maybe it was the family bond that The Sons of Anarchy displayed, or it was them being outlaws and not giving a flying fuck about the law but make sure you catch up with this show, it's on FX tonight.

I don't watch to many reality shows, but this show I do catch when I can. I love everything about Hip Hop even the ratchet females that date some of our favorite or coolest rappers. This show is pure entertainment from Jim Jones mother, his crazy girlfriend who reminds me of one of my old friends to Fabolous baby mother and Juelz Santana new red bone. This show is funny and cazy at the same time.

Video: DJ Whoo Kid Interviews Young Jeezy (Good Interview)

Jeezy has been in a slump for the past two maybe three years, we've been waiting for him to put out TM:103 since Hov dropped the Blueprint 3. A lot of people would say that Ross took his spot which is somewhat true, but I think we all know who's realer and who's better. The fact is Jeezy is better than Ross, but right now Ross is hotter than Jeezy. Let's hope there's a resurgence of Jeezy when his album comes out, but let's not forget Ross drops a week before him.

One part of this interview that sticks out, is when he stated that he stop recording for about four months and moved in with Shorty Red when he got charged with murder. That's very real and loyal and goes a long way in life. The real is back, well let's hope so, TM 103: Hustlers Ambition drops December 20.

Pat (PatisDope) came through the shop last night so we could get a few shots for our upcoming mixtape, Superior Luxury II which he'll be hosting! If you know any two things about Pat, it's that homie has a serious grind and he has no filter when it comes to speaking his mind. Those two qualities are the reasons that he has such a devoted following and why I think our two brands work so well together.
