Some of you might not be familiar with Trae The Truth, but he's a well respected rapper from Houston, Texas that's had a few underground hits. He also fought Mike Jones at the 2008 Ozone Awards. This is his song and while his raspy voice always stands out on a track the main reason for this post is Meek Mill's verse. Listen for yourself!

Everybody is "back" nowadays, first Tupac now Jeezy, but lets hope Jeezy is here to stay. For the past 3 years Jeezy hasn't released an album, but has put out notable mixtapes such as Trap Or Die 2 and The Last Laugh. He's set to drop his album in July. Will the reconnection with DJ Drama give him the push he needs? Ross has the streets now, but will Mr. Trap Or Di reclaim his throne? Only time well tell. Damn, everybody going for the throne lol.

D.M.V. Slang (We Stay Winning) Tee

It's said that the D.M.V. has a very 'crabs in the barrel' mentality (which is true), however I think that being from a place like this, where you have to work very hard to earn respect and support that is easily given elsewhere makes you that much stronger and self-reliant.
Really the only way to succeed in a place where people will hate on you rather than support you is by having confidence in who you are and what you do and to really walk around with a ‘#westaywinning’ mentality.

D.M.V. is one of the most unique places in this whole country as we have our own distinctive style and slang. In the background you can see all of the slang that is relevant to our area with a definition next to each (Websters style). While we have the guy and the girl respectively celebrating for winning their race, and of course our ‘#westaywinning’ quote!

We’re glad to be able to pay homage to the place that raised us and instilled a ‘winners’ mentality in us that still resonates ‘til this day. The D.M.V. plays a very large part in our company and who we are as individuals.

Wow, we've hit 10,000 visits on our blog which is a big deal to us! We are still in just our first year of business so to have the attention and support that we do while still trying to establish ourselves means a lot us, so THANK YOU. Frank Ocean has just released his first visual since exploding on the scene a few months ago! Between all of the rappers remixing his 'Novacane' hit and working with both Beyonce and Pharrel, Frank is definately on his way to stardom.

The Weeknd's "High For This" from his critically-acclaimed House of Balloons mixtape is featured in the brand-new season eight promo for HBO's hit original series Entourage.

J. Cole - Return of Simba

I think the first J. Cole track I ever heard was Grown Simba from his earlier mixtape The Come Up; and I immediately knew the kid had talent. To add to the series of Simba tracks, J. Cole recently dropped this track, Return of Simba. The sample of the Lion King movie for the intro was definitely a dope touch to coincide with it. Can't say if this will be off Cole World, but either way it's a sick track to keep our attention while we wait for the album to drop.

Say what you want about DJ Khaled, but he comes with hits and this time the loud talking penguin out did himself. Khaled called up his Young Money and Maybach music fam. for his newest single called "I'm On One" which features Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. Drake spits a sick 16 plus holds the hook down, Ross comes with his Boss/Fly swag, and Weezy spits metaphor after metaphor until he can't go no more. And yes your prayers have been answered because Khaled doesn't say one word on this banger, I guess he's the kind that gets quiet when he's on one, and if that's the case he should stay on one. Steve Nash | Nash: The Documentary

I think if any one is a fan of the NBA, you must have some type of respect for Steve Nash as one of the best point guards in the league. The trailer for his upcoming documentary actually looks interesting. It took me a second to get past Owen Wilson and the 'nose' but after that the clips and commentary got me interested.

When we (JeeVan, John, Laurence, and I) launched this clothing line 10 months ago we had no idea how many great things Demeanor would accomplish in such a short time. From the very beginning our goal was to build a complete lifestyle company for both men/women.This summer, while still building out our men’s catalog we are going to focus on expanding the women’s portion of our company!
Our thought is that women need a much louder voice in our brand which is why we will shortly be launching our women’s blog 'Ms. Demeanor', which we hope will help to further establish our female fan base’s identity.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS GET NEW UNIFORMS

I know the Washington Wizards aren't much to brag about right now but I'm a fan regardless! Today the Wizards made available their new uniforms for the 2011-2012 season; and as a fan I'm hoping they at least give the team a mental pick-me-up. It's not quite the classic Washington Bullets, but I think it's a good look.

M86 Tee & Legacy Cardigan

As the weather continues to change we're moving subtly into our summer collection. The first of our summer shirts to drop is our M86 design!

We've been sitting on this design for quite a while, i'll actually have to dig up some of the original sketches that I have from the fall. Anywho, this design leave quite an impression because it makes a bold simple statement!

And ofcourse no shirt of our's would be complete without our DM logo!

Next up is our Diamond Dave 'Legacy' Cardigan. While it is getting warmer out outdoors, this cardigan is perfect for sometimes rough transition into summer. Because it fits slim with a V-neck opening in ultra soft Tri-Blend fabric its perfect for wearing in the summer time.

Our Legacy cardigan can be dressed up and worn to high fashion events requiring a certain dress code or it can be dressed down and worn casually while still maintaining its exclusive look/feel.

'Diamond Dave/Sex Sells' Buttons

If you've been paying attention to our posts the last couple of days from our Happy Hour, Friday Night Lights party, or our 4ALL Fashion Show recap you will have noticed these two items popping up quite a bit in our recent pictures.
Our 'Diamond Dave' button is another addition to 'The Rich Kids' and stands out quite well by being bright, playful, and colorful! We actually launched 'The Rich Kids' series so that we could present another side to our brand, while having wealth and luxuries is cool, sharing it and having fun with the people you care about is even better and that is what 'The Rich Kids' are all about!
Our 'Sex Sells' button, you might actually remember from last year, is one of my favorite products right now! Besides the fact that this button has the perfect balance of black/white with bright pink accents, the gorgeous models in the background that you can't quite see all the way, make you really stare at this button and try to guess whats going on this scene.

Both buttons are 1.75" and are great to accessories your bookbag, purse, pants, shirts, vest, or anything else you could possibly think of.

4ALL ART & FASHION SHOW: Demeanor Recap

This past Saturday Demeanor participated in our first fashion show. The 4ALL Art & Fashion Show was an amazing event and it gave some great talents an opportunity to showcase their work. Our homies from The Gallant were there to capture all of the greatness!

From what i've whitnessed, fashion shows can be very stressful and easily overwhelming but Nzinga did a hell of a job keeping everything together and moving in the right direction!

Our male models repping for Demeanor! They really did a great job by just being comfortable in each of their own individual styles while still maintaining the brand!

It was a packed house before the show even started.

The runway has to be a nervous sight for models, this picture kind of makes me feel like The Green Mile, but our models made it look easy and made Demeanor look great!

The Diamond Dave Legacy Polo was the first thing to be seen from our set which was very rewarding because it took us the longest of any shirt to produce.

Our DMOR shirt which was our bestseller of the Fall looked great on the runway, the colors popped, the fit was perfect, this is definately a shirt that you will see making a return in a few different colors for the summer.

Diamond Dave baseball tee turned quite a few aheads itself.

The Suzie Zanoozie baseball tee was definately a standout from our women's line for the boldness of the color on the sleeves.

Our DMV Slang shirt is one of our new arrivals and won't be available for purchase until later this week so stay tuned!

Our Private Jets tee might be my favorite right now! Our model John really got in character with this design bringing his travel luggage and headphones onto the runway with him. #SWAG

Here is the women's version to our DMV Slang tee, dressed up, and made quite classy!

Our Diamond Dave Legacy Cardigan is also a new arrival and won't be made available until a little later!

The M86 shirt is one of the standouts of the new arrivals. It really has a simplistic yet high fashion feel to it. It will be available later this week!

Last but not least is our 'I Heart Demeanor' womens scrimmage tee and matching neon yellow leggings. This picture actually does this fit very little justice as I think it was the standout of the entire show, the scrimmage tee and leggins will be our last release of our Spring collection before we jump into summer so be on the look out for that as well.

We're very thankful to 4ALL for the opportunity to showcase our brand, we really can't wait for what's up next for us, and we'd like to thank everyone of all of the support!
